Our History
Our statement of purpose is “Growing in Jesus’ Name.” We began as a new community church in 2005, meeting at first in homes and then at the Bayfront Park pavilion on Longboat Key. Within a year we had outgrown that facility and moved to an office building at Mediterranean Plaza, which we remodeled for our needs.
Shortly thereafter, we voted to affiliate with the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Since October 23, 2011, we have been rejoicing in our new Church home, worship, education, and fellowship center on Longboat Key at 6400 Gulf of Mexico Drive. The building with its gothic arches and Christ-centered stained glass window expresses our faith.

Our People
We are an active church. We grow together in education, have fun in our fellowship, care for each other in love, and are active in our mission to our community and world. At the center of our life together is worship, which strengthens us for the week to come. Because we are located on the Key, we also have many affiliate members who are with us for several months and are also members of a northern congregation. We invite you to join with us – a warm and stimulating congregation.
We offer you an open door and will keep the light on in the window.
